The idea

In homes where a fan runs all year, it never goes back in the cupboard. Sommer is an electric fan designed as a piece of furniture.

What we designed

A round wooden body around a dark grille, standing on slim black steel legs. I led the creative direction and the product design at Jacob Jensen Design's Bangkok studio.

What came of it

Sommer won an iF Design Award and a German Design Award in 2022.
